The environment a dog spends time in shapes their behaviour.
Dogs are always learning from the world around them.
At Tailored Dogs, our trainer-led daycare is designed to support dogs in a calm, thoughtful way.
Dogs in our care learn to:
refine their canine social skills
build their confidence and reduce anxiety
grow into curious, considerate companions
Throughout the day, Taylor actively guides the group using training principles to reinforce calm behaviour, thoughtful social interactions, and healthy boundaries between dogs.
This allows dogs to practise the skills they need to navigate the world more confidently.
Caring for our members doesn’t stop when the daycare day ends.
We also offer guidance at pick-up to help ensure continuity of care at home.
How membership works
Dogs attend Tailored Dogs on a consistent weekly schedule, allowing us to maintain stable groups and support each dog’s behavioural development.
Memberships run in 10-week terms, helping dogs build familiarity with their group, routine, and environment.
Memberships typically range from $85–$100 per day depending on how many days per week your dog attends.
Your dog’s initial consult
Before joining Tailored Dogs, every dog completes a one-on-one consult with Taylor.
This 45-minute visit includes a behavioural assessment, helping us understand your dog’s temperament and ensure the daycare environment supports their wellbeing.
The assessment:
• takes place in your home or a local park
• costs $150
• is credited toward your membership if you enrol
The initial consult also gives you an opportunity to ask questions and discuss how daycare could best support your dog.

That’s completely fine. Many dogs join Tailored Dogs when they are still developing their social skills.
Because our groups are small and thoughtfully managed, dogs are supported as they build confidence around other dogs.
