At Tailored Dogs, our trainer-led daycare is designed to support dogs in a calm, thoughtful way.
Dogs in our care learn to:
refine their canine social skills
build their confidence and reduce anxiety
grow into curious, considerate companions
Throughout the day, Taylor actively guides the group using training principles to reinforce calm behaviour, thoughtful social interactions, and healthy boundaries between dogs.
This allows dogs to practise the skills they need to navigate the world more confidently.
Caring for our members doesn’t stop when the daycare day ends.
We also offer guidance at pick-up to help ensure continuity of care at home.
How membership works
Dogs attend Tailored Dogs on a consistent weekly schedule, allowing us to maintain stable groups and support each dog’s behavioural development.
Memberships run in 10-week terms, helping dogs build familiarity with their group, routine, and environment.
Memberships typically range from $85–$100 per day depending on how many days per week your dog attends.

Because we carefully curate our daycare groups, places remain limited and each application is reviewed individually.

Tailored Dogs is designed for dogs who benefit from a calm, structured environment.
Many of our members are young dogs learning social skills, sensitive dogs who find large daycares overwhelming, or dogs whose owners want a more thoughtful approach to care.
During the initial consult we’ll talk about your dog and make sure the environment will be the right fit.

Group sizes vary throughout the day. Social groups may include up to 15 compatible dogs, while training and enrichment activities are typically conducted in smaller groups of around 8 dogs or fewer. Some dogs also receive one-on-one support when needed.
For our opening term, attendance is capped at a maximum of 20 dogs per day.

A consistent weekly schedule allows dogs to build familiarity with the environment, the people, and the other dogs in their group.

That’s completely fine. Many dogs join Tailored Dogs when they are still developing their social skills.
Because our groups are small and thoughtfully managed, dogs are supported as they build confidence around other dogs.
